Both parents are Champion Sired. Whiskers is Roberta's pride and joy. He has 38 champions in his 5 generation pedigree with only one repeat. That is 37 individual dogs who were all champions!!! Some on each side of his pedigree. In his first 6 shows Whiskers won 7 points and a 4 point major. He is half way to his championship.

8 Week Pictures. It is decision time and it will be tough. This is a great litter and all the puppies are exceptional.

6 Week Pictures

6 Week Pictures. It is getting closer to being able to tell who is smooth and who is wire. Roberta said all 4 are wire but now is beginning to see it my way. There is only a 1 in 16 chance of that being the case, so the odds were on my side. I am now pretty sure we have a perfectly normal distribution, 2 wire, 2 smooth. For those of you who have a reservation on this litter, you will not be disappointed. We expect all these puppies to be exceptional.

Peter - Red boy I MIGHT be wire and it appears I am a wire but we are still not sure.

Piper - Red Girl Skip is pretty sure I am smooth, reluctantly Roberta is beginning to agree.

Peck - Black and tan boy with slight "Hunter's Crest" " I MIGHT be smooth". NOT. I am a wire!!

Pickles Black and tan boy with no "Hunter's Crest" I MIGHT be smooth. and YES I AM a smooth or so it appears.

4 Week Pictures

4 Week Pictures. Still too early to tell who is wire and who is smooth. Roberta says all 4 are wire. There is only a 1 in 16 chance that is the case. 2 Week Pictures. All are healthy and doing fine. Pepper is a good mom. For those of you who have a reservation on this litter, you will not be disappointed. We expect all these puppies to be exceptional.

No we don't know which puppies are wire yet. lol. Maybe the two reds. But maybe NOT too.

Newborn

Pepper whelped a 4 puppy litter March 10, 2011 Both parents are clear for PRA and NCL so all the puppies are too.

She had 3 boys and 1 girl, the girl and one boy are red the other two boys are black and tan

The red puppies are Peter and Piper, the black and tan boys are Pickles and Peck. Peter Piper picked a Peck of Pickeled Peppers.

This litter should be half smooth coats and half wire coats, black and tans and reds. Whiskers Pepper Litter 6 generation pedigree. Wow a whopping 54 champions (if I counted right). PEDIGREE
